I had a crew (Including me) assigned to a youth skate event at a park in the East. One of our concerns at this event was the heat.
The main issues that presented to us last night were people drinking booze and drunks. In fact, one of the drunks needed Ambulance and Police intervention as he was becoming aggressive and was a concern to the public.
After I left the event I could see the Police had activated lights and sirens in a side alley near a local bar. I went passed this location to advise the members that our second drunk had now entered into the local shopping centre and left the skate area.
The members were now responding to minor scuffle at a bar. The comment was “RSA, unlikely”
For the record I did not see one Ice User !!
I believe we have an illicit drug issue but we have far more Alcohol Related Injuries then any other legal or illegal drug. Can we get a grip on booze !!
