Police hunt man and female accomplices
A Hervey Bay bucks party has ended with police hunting a man and a group of women who allegedly attacked a house and attempted to run over a man.At 9pm last night a woman, reported to be the bride, to be married today, called police to a home on Shore Rd East in Booral when a party got out of hand.
After an argument, a man is alleged to have left the house, only to return with a group of women armed with fence palings.
A fight then broke out inside the home and spilled on to the front lawn where a 58-year-old Booral man was allegedly hit by a car.
He was taken to Hervey Bay Hospital, but no other people were reported injured.
The car used in the alleged melee was found abandoned only a few hundred meters from the incident.
Police released the dog squad to search for the man and his accomplices but they were not found.
