Brawlers had earlier knocked over bins after leaving a party
[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Two boys allegedly spat on police while officers broke up a street fight in Australind in the early hours of this morning.
Police went to the intersection of Norfolk Lane and Kingston Drive at 12.30am after receiving reports of people fighting in the street.
It is believed the brawlers had earlier knocked over bins after leaving a party in Kelston Way.
Police say two boys aged 15 and 16 struggled with police as they were being arrested.
The 16-year-old boy allegedly spat on officers and tried to wrestle with them before being put in the police van.
He was then let out of the van by the 15-year-old boy, who allegedly also spat on police and tried to fight with them.
Police dog Geoffrey was punched by the boy after biting the boy’s leg during the scuffle, police allege.
Both boys were eventually restrained and charged with disorderly behaviour in public, obstructing police, assaulting a public officer and disorderly behaviour in a police station.
They are due to appear in Bunbury Children’s Court on March 10.
Two other boys allegedly verbally abused police and were issued juvenile cautions for disorderly behaviour.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”23390″ alignment=”center” border_color=”grey” img_link_target=”_self” img_size=”large”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_button2 title=”MEDIA LINK” style=”rounded” color=”violet” size=”sm” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fau.news.yahoo.com%2Fthewest%2Fwa%2Fa%2F21761870%2Fparty-teens-spat-on-police%2F||target:%20_blank”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
