Violent Gatecrashers End Party
[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Police were forced to break up a Safety Bay house party after gatecrashers caused a brawl on Saturday night.
Police say they were called to the house on Salvadore Close, Safety Bay, about 11pm, when a crowd of 10 to 15 uninvited youths tried to join the party and some became involved in an altercation.
Police intervened and the crowd became hostile, during which objects were thrown.
Police declared the event an out-of-control gathering and the youths were ordered to disperse and moved away from the property.
Four people were arrested for disorderly conduct and later released.
All are expected to be summonsed to Rockingham Magistrates Court at a later date.
