The Party Survival App is a mobile application that assists with planning a safe teenage party providing parents with a step by step guide for party planners that includes a party checklist, a venue safety checklist together with an alcohol management plan and many other features.
According to Naomi Oakley a former Victorian Police member and the creator of the Party Survival App ‘on any given Friday, Saturday or Sunday night police across Australia are called to teenage parties to deal with out of control gatecrashers who have harmed guests and or caused property damage.’
Ms Oakley says that ‘poor planning is the major reason for parties getting out of control’ and says ‘that the Party Survival App is very easy to use and provides parents a level of comfort that contributes to a safe partying environment for their children and their guests’.
The Party Survival App will assist our parents planning parties by keeping them sane at the end of the night, parents dropping kids off at parties can rest easy knowing that the host of the parties have used the Party Survival App to plan which will ensure the safety of our kids at the party, be cool enough for the teenagers to use to provide them with relevant planning information, ensure ANY staff assigned to parties are working in a safe environment, and minimise the call out for our Police and Emergency Services. The end result is community safety and will ensure our kids arrive home safe
The App will be available shortly. It will also be launched in other countries within a few months.
