Dear Party Hosts,
When planning a party please ensure the following plans are put in place to ensure ALL guests are safe and they arrive home safely:
Provide RSA at all BYO/Supply events. Hire a barman to serve alcohol RESPONSIBLY. If the event is BYO ensure it is labelled and placed behind the bar
Ensure Water chasers commence 2 hrs after the party starts
Have a ‘no glass’ policy
Have adequate parent helpers (1 SOBER helper per 15 guests)
Consider PROFESSIONAL crowd control (CC)for your event (2 CC for 100 guests)
Have an alphabetical guest list with all guests providing photo id
Cap the guest list at under 150 patrons
Minors to provide permission to drink
Notify the Police and neighbours
Pools and balconies are out of bounds
Have adequate lighting
Plenty of food to be served continually
Ensure a Transport Plan is in place to ensure a speedy exit
By providing a planned, well managed event we may avoid such tragedies as this.
