This article sounds very similar to an event I was involved years ago. It was an extremely tense and volatile situation.
Some basic recommendations were put forward to the client that included manage BYO. The recommendations were not accepted. I decided it was an OHS risk. Security were then assigned to assist with external issues, such as gatecrashers. One of the emails sent to the client mentioned 'it will end in tears'
This is a very sad situation. There are no winners.
Hopefully for this family they will seek some justice.
