Recently I was contacted by a parent planning her son's 18th birthday. After I had relayed to her the importance of security and alcohol management she replied...."Their nearly adults. They will be fine with the alcohol!!"
Really!! Needless to say I did not assign staff because I knew that my staff would be used as punching bags when it turned pear shaped.
This article is a very sad reminder to parents that alcohol is causing so much grief on our streets and within our private homes. It is far easier to argue with someone at the bar then attend a bloody funeral. Bloody tragic!
If your teen is going to schoolies get them to read this.
