OPEN HOUSE PARTIES. CHAOS!
HUNDREDS of unsupervised teenagers are invading vacant houses around Melbourne to hold regular booze and drug-fuelled parties.
The Herald Sun has learned of the trend as a wild party was held on Saturday night when about 300 teens gathered at a house in Cranbourne.
Police were called to Hoyle Court at 11.20pm after neighbours complained about the loud get-together.
Ambulance crews and police officers arrived at the scene to break up the large group of out-of-control adolescents.
Saturday night’s party occurred at a tiny house that was occupied but sources have revealed that many other events have taken place at properties that are vacant while waiting to be sold or rented out.
A neighbour said when police arrived, they were pelted with more than 20 bottles.
On Sunday afternoon, shards of glass and rubbish from the party littered the street where a large number of local children were playing.
